I have received numerous awards from my company, which makes this a very enjoyable place to work. But it is the hundreds of commendations over the years from my clients that make me feel like I am really doing a great service. Integrity is the most important thing in business, and I try to live by that.
If I had to describe myself as a Personal Benefits Manager, I’d say I’m consultative, not pushy or salesy. I listen first, then make recommendations based on the client’s needs that will be best for them over the long term. On rare occasions, the best plan for a client is one that I do not offer or get paid on, but I always put the client’s best interest ahead of my own personal gain. Doing the right thing is always the best thing.

Family
Family is the most important thing to me, which is why I moved from Southern California to chilly Michigan shortly after I lost my husband six years ago. Losing him was perhaps the worst thing that’s ever happened to me.
I love to entertain and make people happy. At this point in my life, I am ready to live back in a warm climate again. It will bring me much joy to have a home environment where lots of family and friends can gather and even visit for lengths of time.
One fear I have is getting too comfortable living alone and not sharing my life with someone who can challenge me and make me grow. Not growing is dying.

When I’m not working, I have all sorts of hobbies I like to do. While I am out walking or gardening, I listen to all types of history podcasts, and right now, I am really into archeology documentaries and global news. I enjoy the fellowship of church and attend and serve regularly as time permits.
I enjoy running, teaching yoga, playing beach volleyball, stand-up paddleboarding, tennis, learning to golf, walking, and playing with my new miniature bernedoodle puppies. Fun fact: I used to sing, act, and model. I just dabbled in each and did not make much money, but it was a lot of fun.
