Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Supplement Plans

Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield’s MediGap plans provide additional protection against high medical costs not covered under Medicare. To enroll, you must also enroll in Medicare Parts A and B.

Unlike other types of health insurance, MediGap plan coverage has been standardized to make it easy to compare coverage versus cost. MediGap plan benefits are identified by plan letters. For example, MediGap Plan A has the least amount of coverage, while MediGap Plan F offers the most comprehensive benefits.

  • MediGap plans are accepted by providers who accept Medicare coverage
  • MediGap automatically picks up the charges Medicare doesn’t cover, depending on which MediGap plan you choose.

Highmark BCBS offers a wide range of standardized Medicare supplement options to customers. Plan G, a popular Medicare Supplement plan which covers everything under Medicare Part A and B except for the annual $233 Part B deductible, costs between $132.94 and $278.08 in 2026.
